The Braemar Highland Dancers: founded in 1962 by Jeannie Jardine Brauns, the Braemar Highland Dancers are the oldest certified school in New York. The school is currently under the direction of Shana Weir, Holly Bartlett, and Heather Bartlett. Lessons are held in East Greenbush, NY. Students commute from as close the Greater Capital District to as far as Stockbridge, MA. With year round preparation for competitions, performances, and annual SDTA Medal Test exams, our school also values our family-like atmosphere with various social events.
