• Pandanggo sa Ilaw ( pan-dang-go sa i-law) or Candle Dance is a Philippine folk dance requires skill in balancing three lighted oil lamps one on the head and at the palms of each hand. Sometimes, candles in glasses are used instead of an oil lamp. This dance of lights simulates fireflies at dusk and at night. • Tinikling (tin•i•kling) means "bamboo dance" in English. Tinikling - This is the most popular and best known of the Philippine dances and honored as the Philippine national dance. The dance involves two people beating, tapping, and sliding bamboo poles on the ground and against each other in coordination with one or more dancers who step over and in between the poles in a dance. Binhing Pinoy- Performed by children of Filipino descent, bounded together by their parents who are working at Albany Medical Center as Nurses, Med techs and other allied services.
